India’s renowned India Cultural & Education Centre is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of knowledge, artistry and culture in a myriad of fields.

Our Mission

The primary mission of the Center is to provide charitable, cultural and educational services to the needy persons both in United States and around the world including India by establishing a cultural Center to facilitate and introduce the rich heritage and culture of India in the United States of America, especially to the second and future generation of the people of Indian origin, to establish educational scholarships, to promote and be part of the educational and literary activities organized and associated with the Malayalam Library owned and operated by the Kerala Association of Dallas, Inc., a Non Profit Corporation, and to enhance the strength of the library through the purchase of Malayalam literary, scientific and other books from India, and also in any other languages including English and to do all other activities consistent with its purposes for which a Non Profit Corporation can do under the laws of the State of Texas and also as permitted to such organizations under the Internal Revenue Code section 501(c) (3) being a tax exemption Non Profit Corporation.

Consular Camp on 15th June 2019 at Garland

India Cultural & Education center will host officials from the Consulate General of India, Houston for a “Consular Camp” at their center located at 3821, Broadway Boulevard, Garland, Texas on Saturday, 15th June 2019. Patrons may get their applications and supporting documents verified by the CGI officials, before sending the applications to CKGS, Houston for processing.

Note :

1. Please appreciate that the “appointment time” is only an ‘approximate time’ that depends on the number of Consular Officers available  on that day as well as the time spent by the patrons with each officer.

2. As the “Walk-in”  Patrons cannot be given preference over those who are already waiting with appointment time, a limited number of walk-in may register from the morning to meet the CGI officers after all the prescheduled appointments are completed around 4:30 pm.”
